• What are the DICK's Sporting Goods x Nike It's her shot events?

  DICK’S Sporting Goods, in partnership with Nike, is hosting a special event celebrating the basketball community and empowering young girls to take their place on the court. It’s Her Shot events include skills & drills training, pick up games, athlete & icon appearances, custom swag, photo ops and more!

• Who can participate in the It’s Her Shot events?

  DICK’S Sporting Goods x Nike It’s Her Shot events are open to girls ages 8-18. All skill levels are welcome & the event is free to attend. Girls will be grouped based on age and skill level.

• Are the events free?

  It’s Her Shot is free to attend, but participation is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

• what should i bring to the event?

  A practice jersey (pinnie) will be provided at registration, but please arrive ready to play with the appropriate attire and footwear.

• Do I need to bring the signed waiver with me?

  All participants must complete the photo and liability release waiver in order to participate. Waivers can be downloaded during the online registration process and brought on-site, or additional waivers will be available to complete on-site at the registration table. Girls under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the waiver.

• How long is the event?

  The event will last five hours. Girls are encouraged to stay for the duration of the event, or come and go as they please.

• Will lunch be provided?

  Lunch and hydration will be provided for all registered participants.

• Can I participate in the event if I forget to register?

  Walk-ups are welcome on the day of the event, but participation is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
